The Douglas Grand at Winter Park is said to be the most elegant living/retail option in Central Florida. The owner’s desire for the architectural facade was to create a visual appearance of a Federal Historical Limestone building. Natural Limestone was the first choice; however, in view of the overall cost, transportation, installation and weight association to the foundation and attachment, ArcusStone was selected as the alternative because it was able to accomplish all of the objectives of the limestone facade with substantial cost savings due to minimal mechanical attachment, less labor cost due to the light weight installation and the cost savings of the material.
